Human Factor: The great '7' lessons for Success in Life!

Today we are living in a dynamic world. It is hard to find time to read good books and absorb some lessons from others! Life is teaching lessons constantly. We often wonder, why those lessons are not learnt earlier? and is it still too late to react or correct overselves? The best teacher to learn lesson for life is self! If you are proactive, yes, then it is possible to learn from others! There are certain moments in our life which are wonderful and worth remembering!. I was facinated by the thoughts, messages and actions for better life! It is always better to share these thoughts and messages through this blog .. The snippets are reproduced here..

The power of gratitude and forgiveness:

Remember those beautiful moments when you have met someone wonderful, who miraculously seems to think you are wonderful too. You also find your self in the heart of a group of friends sustained by cheerfulness and good humour and you think how lucky you are to have them. Remember the time you were stranded and somebody offered you a timely lift/help. Mother Teresa who treated everything that comes to her as a gift. If you really want to feel enormous gratitude for your messy, problematic life try nearly loosing it. I have never felt so abundantly, humbly, instantly grateful so in love with my life as I did immediately after surviving a road accident!

Living your own life & How to change your self-image:

People always think that a change has to be dramatic and radical and sometimes that can work.Adventures of whatever kind can lead to a dramatic change of self image. And a change of self image leads inexorably to a difference in the way the world treats you. Things that don’t change and stay small are invisible. Surprise people and they begin to look at you in a new way. Transform from a person who says “No” you have to become a person who says “Yes” and that makes all the difference.

Being your own best friend:

Think of the kindest person you know, the most encouraging teacher, the most loving parent. That is the voice you want to encourage in your own head. When you make a mess of tasks, don’t shout at yourself and hurl insults. Sit back, Tell yourself, without heat, that you have not got it right this time, but congratulate yourself for trying. Then suggest to yourself that you have another go, may be trying something differently. Tell yourself that you know you can do it, and gently remind yourself of some past success. And finally if you really want to see your inner monster for what it is, take a piece of paper and write down without pausing to think all rude, destructive and negative things you hurl at yourself in your mind.

A short guide to the subconscious:

Your subconscious mind is at work when you fall asleep with a problem and wake up with a solution. Once you become aware of the ways in which your subconscious mind works the next step is to harness its power on purpose. We should all become skilled at connecting with our unconscious mind because the best decisions are made by a mind cooperating with itself. The huge power of unconscious has over us comes from repression. It is the subversive power of the hidden and unknown- Emotional self- Intellectual self- Spiritual self- Body
Writing a letter to God and getting reply from him:The advantage of writing a letter to God is that you are taking on the voice of an infinitely wise, all seeing, all knowing being with the perspective of eternity. There is a spark of that in all of us, and that spark will illuminate your reply.

The magic of 20 minutes:

Never under estimate the power of inertia. It takes far more energy and fuel for a plane to take off than it does to cruise. Cruising is the easy bit. That’s why the kind of people who finish projects have many ways to get themselves on to the runway and taxiing off. It might take all day for an original idea to happen or nothing happens, but you keep trying and then with a glug and burp things start moving. And it is the small things the increment of 20 minutes that can bring the shift.

Making a life with meaning:

You need shelter, security and sustenance. Without a roof, a lock on your door and food on your table any higher purpose is difficult to achieve.

Hope these selected '7' lessons helps you a lot to be successful in life.
